"Well, when you introduced yourself as a queen it didn't seem you liked that title very much." Izual replied quickly as he followed. Amaryllis may have been in a rush, but this mercenary was taking his time. Whether it was from just pure ignorance or having a lack of fear that a single person could possess such power, it would be up to each individual.

The thought of having her telling him to stay with her for the night was rather unnerving and more of an insult. While some men would've taken it as a chance to get lucky, Izual viewed it more as if she thought he needed protecting. If anything, it would be those that chased him that would need the protecting.

He stopped a few feet away after the minu stopped. She asked a rather silly question and before he could answer it, he paused to see what she was doing. Amaryllis' hand was pulling something from her crown of vegetation that was of a golden color. Izual couldn't make out exactly what it was, but all he knew that it was small enough to fit in a person's hand. He simply watched as she inserted the object into what appeared to be an invisible hole and saw a door open.

He blinked twice trying to take in what he had just seen. Such things where ancient indeed and there was no doubt in his mind that he had heard of this type of magic, but there was something different from being told about it and then actually seeing it. Izual didn't have much time to admire it as he was suddenly pulled out of his awe and into the house.

"Elvandra?" Izual repeated as he began to look around. He had forgotten about the fact that he would rather be out in the open and fight for his own life and also for the sake of fighting itself then being hidden. It wasn't that he heard of the city, it was more of an inquiry as if that was where she was from. He looked around the home and saw that it wasn't anything very spectacular about it. It was as if it was an old hut that just got some sort of invisiblity charm put on it. He didn't even bother sitting down in any spot that was available. He stayed standing as if waiting for the next challenger to arrive.

The tea had finished brewing and she took it as an opportunity to finally face him, her face suddenly more serious than it had ever been before. "It is not wise to talk about killings in public, not nowadays. I had to bring you here. I hope you understand." She studied him for a minute, realizing that he was still standing. That was his choice of course, but actions always spoke louder than words. He was an arrogant man, she could see, and she had to laugh at him.

Amaryllis returned to the tea, pouring the small contents into two small cups. It was a powerful tea, one that would help cleanse the mind, body and soul. It was of her own creation. She walked over to him and handed him one of the cups, while she sipped on the other and sighed. "I asked you a question early, and you didn't answer me. What can I do for you?" She repeated herself as she sat down in a nearby chair. Her eyes were focused plainly on him, but her mind was elsewhere. She was more concerned with her people, and their safety. Ourania was out of His jurisdiction, but that still didn't stop her from worrying.

She was indifferent to the man standing opposite her, but knew that he may eventually have his use. She was studying him and thinking deeply all at once. It wasn't unusual for her to do so. She finished her tea in silence. "Please, sit. It is rude to continue to stand while someone has offered you a seat." She said, placing the cup down on the dusty table in front of her. She folded her hands together, ready for the conversation that was to begin between the two.

"Depends where you are amongst the public." Izual replied sharply without thinking. He was more concerned with what Adraal would be sending after them. There would surely be a patrol that would be able to detect such magic. It was all a matter of how long it would take for them to find Izual and Amaryllis.

He decided to take a seat at the table before answering her first question. The draenor stared at the substance that was in the cup before him. He gave a short smile and took a drink. It wasn't the best tasting thing in the world, but he supposed it could be worse. Either way, he began to seriously consider her question. How exactly could she help him?

"I guess the only thing is a simple question." Izual replied, "Do you have use for a mercenary?" He watched her carefully while considering future responses. He took another drink of the tea this time not attempting to hide the look of a forced swallow. His head shook slightly as if trying to rid himself of the rest of the flavor that was there. He wasn't one for tea, but then again he wasn't one for using herbs in his drinks either.

Amaryllis reclined in her chair. He had finally taken the bait and sat down. She was always uncomfortable when someone insisted on standing after she offered them a seat. It was just one of those things that upset and annoyed her slightly. She was from a generation of Old, where certain customs were upheld. Alot of these newer generations couldn't seem to understand the Old ways. She sighed heavily.

She smiled widely. "Don't drink it on account of me. It's an acquired taste, so I have been told." She laughed, seeing the look on his face the first time he took a sip. However, when he asked her that question, she stopped laughing immediately and said nothing. Was that all he knew how to do? He wasn't skilled in anything else but killing? What use was he then? He was just as expendable as the last person. She frowned visible, taking her time as to choose her words carefully.

She studied him long and hard, trying to see a real use for him. She could kill on her own, and do it much more accurately and better than he, she was sure of that. She wanted him around for something else, but he'd have to want to stick around as well. "No." She answered simply. "I have something much more suitable. Mercenary work is demeaning and let's face it predictable. Is that all you know in this world? Killing for hire?" She asked him, not really letting on her plans for him. Either he'd grow tired of her and want to leave, or he'd genuinely be interested. Sadly, the more she spoke to him, she was beginning to think it would be the former.

"Mercenary work maybe demeaning, but it pays well." Izual replied. He gazed at Amaryllis trying to pick his next works with care. She seemed ignorant of what all a mercenary could do. Not all jobs were necessarily to kill. True their primary purpose are expendable soldiers that are to be purchased for some objective, but that was only one side of the coin.

"I've had many odd jobs as well." Izual spoke, "Because I am a mercenary most people think that killing is all I do or know what to do. The fact is that is very untrue. I'll admit it's one of the simpler tasks that can be given to a mercenary but some jobs don't revolve even around fights or bloodshed."

He looked down at this glass. After thinking about it, he decided not to finish the rest of the tea. It did not bring him much comfort or agree with the rest of his body for that matter. He gazed up at the minu. Contemplating on whether or not certain information should be given. In the end, he decided not to. That information would have to be earned. "So I repeat my question." he spoke believing he gave her enough time to think about his answer, "Do you have any use for a mercenary?"

She remained quiet for a considerably long amount of time. It was in her nature to consider what was being said to her, or even times just to listen and watch. This could become slightly irritating to whoever was in her company, but she paid that no mind. In order for her to make decisions, she had to make sure all outcomes were weighed upon.

"I pay better." She replied to his first comment. She was a very wealthy woman, though she never boasted about it. In her life, she had acquired a vase amount of wealth. She had no real use for material objects, and most of her money or currency went back to her people. He didn't want to admit it, but killing was all he did. That was the only reason anyone hired a mercenary. Why he didn't admit to this fact was beyond her, but she paid it no mind. It was a character trait and flaw, to never admit when one was wrong. It was a human trait.

He didn't appear to like her tea much, and that seemed to suit her well. "I have no use for a mercenary. There is nothing you can do that I can't, honestly. No, you're here, in this magical place of hiding, if you want to call it hiding. I just call it resting...but you are here for another reason. I'd like for you to accompany me to Abraal's location." She never asked him, just spoke as calmly as before.

"And what is in it for me?" Izual was quick to reply. This woman wanted him to accompany her to some place to where the high judge was located at. Not that he isn't worried about the dangers or such other things, but the fact that she didn't ask. It was a statement made as if it where every day talk.

He leaned forward in his seat studying the woman carefully. There were certain things that could be picked up from reading a person's actions. He wanted to know what she was trying to get at or what she had in mind for him. If she really wanted to go to where Abraal was at, then she surely must know what's there. And indeed it would be nearly suicide for something for humans to try to do. But perhaps a minu and himself could get there and inside without trouble.

Amaryllis leaned in towards him. She had a look on her face that was rather uncharacteristic of her. It was a smile of devilish means. "Your life." She answered him simply and took once more to reclining back in her seat. "Abraal is a very...persuasive being not to mention resourceful. You may think you are stronger than he is, but I can tell you now that you are no match for him. But, I need you there for another reason all together. And if I tell you that reason now, I highly doubt you'll come with me."

She stood up abruptly, her face stern and serious. She studied him over once more and said, "You will come with me, one way or another. But first things first...I am hungry. Do you care for anything? I promise, it's not as bad as my tea. Come." She jerked her head towards the kitchen area and walked that way soon after. Although she was plotting to overthrow the entire Judge-system. She wasn't going to let him in on that secret until she felt she could trust him completely. Then, and only then would her use for him be acknowledged.

As much as she liked their conversation, she really was rather hungry and wouldn't talk more about it until she ate. It was just one of things. She always felt it wasn't good to think and plot on an empty stomach. Rash decisions were always made because of that.

Izual awaited his reply and then heard it upon seeing Amaryllis' expression. Upon hearing her words, his expression grew dark. She spoke again of Abraal. It didn't matter how resourceful this man was. Izual didn't care either. This woman was mocking him and he had half the mind to cut her where she stood. He had the cup that had some tea in it clasped in one of his hands. The contents bring brought to a light boil.

"I do not take kind to such mockery." Izual spoke, "My life determines whether I get pay or not. My life is not a price to be put on the bargaining table. Do not be so foolish as to test my patience. If you want my assistance, then you will give me compensation."

He stared her down, his eyes revealing something that was different. Fires where burning within them and his hand was tightning around the cup he was given. He was not hungry and he did not need to eat. She might've seen him as a joke or some tool, but he would not be treated as such. Izual did not fear her nor Abraal or even the spirits of this world. Even the darkest of places only encouraged him to traverse them.

The thought dawned on him that she wasn't paying any attention to him or to what he was saying. He calmed himself and got up from his seat. He didn't feel like waiting or taking a break, whatever this was called. Izual then started making his way to the door not caring if he was being loud or not.
