Phage walked quickly through the brush. He knew he was almost through the forest, or at least he hoped so. He turned a corner he thought was the way out only to see even more trees. "Why in all places do I have to get lost in a forest? Can't be caves or anything else, no. Always has to be a stupid forest." He reached into his pack and grabbed some food, which he ate hastily.
Phage ran a bit more until he found a clearing then he settled down and a tree that had fallen over. He set his supplies and looked at the sky. Pitch black, thanks to the clouds. "Never a good thing to have, especially in the forest." He tapped his temples and mumbled something. Then he peered around and headed further into the brush to find water. He stumbled upon a cave and peered inside to see it was a burial site. He laughed haughtily and then headed slowly back towards the area of the clearing, hoping to have something fun cross his path. But, there was nothing of yet and he needed to have something to do soon, he might just start absorbing life from anything that moved.

Izual had been on her mind since they had finally went through with what they had been feeling for each other. As a free spirit, she never lingered in one place for too long. This forest had seemed to awaken as she entered deeper and deeper. The wind howled with each graceful movement, the tree's trembled as she twirled her metallic-staff. Only a symbol of her power, not the source.
The source of her power was all around her. The air. Wind. Everything about earth was hers to use. It was her birth-rite. Her body soared through the air, she was an earth-spirit at heart. Her entire being was solely to give herself to the wind, to earth, the air. To take it into herself and absorb it with her entire being. And she did. As she twirled her staff over her head, and around her body the wind would howl and whistle it's appreciation. As if the wind whispered to her she knew someone was coming.
Quietly, but quickly, she took homage in a nearby tree that towered and made the forest look extremely haunting as did the rest of the tree's. She waited patiently, still commanding the air and wind with graceful and silent movements. Her green eyes pierced the ground and all that surrounded her.

Phage picked up his pack from the spot and started off again. He never did like all the life in the forest, but it was supposed to be the quickest way to the ocean. All he wanted to do was get off the continent, but he never thought to buy a map. Getting there is what seemed easy at the moment. When he wasn't actually surrounded by trees and animals that were at rest.
"To think that elves live in this place," Phage grumbled, "I don't understand how they don't get lost!!" He started to run quickly in a straight line and shouting for no reason. He was fed up with the forest. He really could care less if something would attack him. Phage, in a way, hoped to be attacked. The forest seemed a blur as he ran until he saw, what appeared to be, glinting green eyes that he was going straight towards at full speed. "Well it seems I just might get my wish." He leaped up and hopped tree to tree until he was above his target then removed his glove. "I hope you don't dissapoint me!" He shouted as he fell from the trees.
