(yikes, thats not good at all!)
"Ah, but my dear. I haven't underestimated a being in over... three hundred years." He smiled and walked over to the flame. It seemed to flicker away from him and he waved his hand over it. The flames slowly died down and he turned to her in the darkness. "Now we shall see, just how good you really are my dear mermaid." He casted three spells immediatly. One to hide him in the shadows, one to allow him to walk silently as a cat, and a the third to allow him to gather the energy quickly so he could perform any spell he needed.
Kai walked quickly and was soon around her and facing her back. Time to play a little. He hummed an old tune and suddenly a few skeletal warriors raised from the caskets that were scattered aroung the cave. They looked at Kai then reached down and grabbed anything they could find. Regardless of what the picked up the all slowly looked at Aerona and started to shuffle towards her in a seemingly mindless fashion. The real test to see what tricks she might have inside her mind.

(*nods* i know sorry if i type mistakes but the sp-check doesn't quite work)
" then i might be your first in three hunderd years." that was a long time. that was like near the double of what she had lived. Darkness was good. better then fire. not to mention she was close or rather in her element so she would be able to use it. And another thing. she was in a cave. if their was anything that caves where good for then it was to make things sound louder. much louder so singing was a good option to.
She heard a humming. something she didn't know but she knew it had to be kai. "why don't you leave singing to those who know how to handle it? she asked him. he knew she was a merfolk. he should know what she could do with her voice. it was a weapon that was oftenly underestemated. She focused and with a swift move of her hands she made a tube of water around her. she would save her voice for real emerency's. she did do some silent vocal exercises. she knew she would be using it soon enough.

(its alright)
"I would my dear lass, but it seems necessary to sing the song of summoning to summon minions." Kai's voice was seemingly distorted to where it seemed to come from everywhere and nowhere. "I can only hope you see them coming for you." He whispered into her ear and then he flew up to the ceiling and layed on it as though he was laying on the ground. He could only imagine what she might do when she is in danger. Maybe a freezing spell, or the sirens call. I maybe should tell her that that would not work on me or the undead. They are too unthinking to be seduced into walking into the water. He slowly walked back and forth on the ceiling waiting for her to do something, anything really. He almost couldn't stand having to wait. He had never seen mermaid do battle before in his long life. Kai's imagination swirled with all the possibilities of what she might do. So he started to think of a way to counter-act against all of the thoughts. What he could do just in case she did do what he though and just as he looked down, the skelatal warriors were upon her.

Summon minions? what the hell where summon minions? she didn't know but she knew that she would be finding out soon. And what the seeing was he wasn't being funny. she couldn't see like anything. she could only feel the water she was in. the dense on the stone well, walls? she sighed deeply and she knew that she wasn't much of a fighter. After all she only protected herself but she was quite good at that. and she would be needing to protect herself now to she knew that she would have to.
As she expected it didn't take to long before she some densety changes. she decieded to start on weak and to get the more serious stuff when it would be really needed. her voice was her best weapon and it hadn't failed her just yet. she didn't know what he could do and he didn't know what she could do. or so she hoped. on the places where she felt that there was someone she sended a great deal of water. making a watery prison around everything she felt and she knew that there would be some bugs between them but certainly also some of the things that he was using. whatever that was.
